I put Fedora 14 on my HP G62-149WM laptop and everything WORKS OUT OF THE BOX!
This is what I have been waiting for for some time. Fedora 14 makes all hardware components in this type of laptop work with all apps that need them. I bought this laptop from walmart for a specific reason. The major brand names in this laptop all contribute to the Linux kernel (top 10 contributors). I feel i have made a smart buying decision on a laptop and hope I inspire all else who wish to find a laptop that Linux will work on.
